~Woody the Hockey Bear Adoption~ by Season's of Heaven Graphics

Woody Dumart was a hockey legend, a player for the Boston Bruins, and a hockey hall of famer...but more importantly he was Grandfather and Great Grandfather to Caleb and our three children. He has claimed 2 stanley cup champions under his belt in 1939 and 1941as a member of the famous Kraut Line alongside lifetime friends and team mates Milt Schmidt and Bobby Bauer. He was also inducted into the hockey hall of fame in 1992. I asked Kacey to make this bear in honor of him...it was a year ago...on October 19th that Woody passed away. I feel blessed that I was able to meet him and become a part of his family. Not just because he truely was a legend of a hockey player but he was also a great gentlemen off the ice. I only hope that my children will remember what an incredible Great Grandfather they had!

This was the last time we saw Woody...at Caleb's surprise 25th birthday party. Here are 4 generations of Dumart men...Caleb's Dad and little brother, Clark, Woody, Caleb, and our son, Cameron.
